Patient Tree
Access patient information with a single click of your mouse. Using a single screen view, the meridianPM Patient Tree contains patient details, including: insurance and appointment history, electronic claims, managed care visits, reminders and recalls and more. When you select a patient folder, you view specific patient information on one screen without the need to open individual modules, tabs or multiple windows. By taking advantage of the true Microsoft Windows capability, the Patient Tree view shows patient data at a glance.

For example: patient information is displayed by simply hovering over the selected folder attached to the Patient Tree.

Dr. Dash

meridianPM Doctor Dash links directly to the Internet. Appointment Scheduling
The meridianPM Scheduler is the most flexible, user-friendly and efficient scheduling system available today. Schedule by multiple selection criteria, color-coded by resource and location, and allow anyone on your staff to quickly identify where and when each physician is working on any day. View multiple resources on one screen to compare calendars and reschedule appointments quickly and efficiently, minimizing inconvenience to patient and staff.

The meridianPM managed care interface prompts the user whenever a referral is required for a patient. Information is entered prior to the patient’s arrival — time, money and frustration for your patient and staff are significantly reduced. In addition, the First Available search feature allows your staff member to provide a patient with an appointment most accommodating to his or her schedule and searches by resource, location, category, day of the week, date or time.

Call schedules for physicians, nurses, physician assistants and therapists are booked by user-defined periods of time on call, and surgeries are scheduled at the proper location for a defined period of time, while additional resources such as assistants and special equipment can be arranged.

Document Management
The meridianPM Document Management System allows your practice to have patient records available at your fingertips. Customized forms can be printed with patient data automatically merged into the document. The meridianPM Financial Management system allows you and your staff to simplify your accounts receivable, increase profitability and reduce office overhead for better accounting information and more satisfied patient clientele.

Billing can be as unique as the individual who manages it. With meridianPM Financial Management, you can post charges, payments and adjustments multiple ways — by visit transaction, bulk or line item — and manage your accounts receivable in a timely and efficient manner.

Visit transaction posting allows the user to post charges, payments and adjustments from the same screen with a patient tree view to the left of the screen for easy access to patient information. Bulk posting provides a quick heads-down entry of charges from stacks of Superbills, and line item posting allows you to enter insurance payments from EOBs.

The best way to reduce data entry costs is to eliminate them. meridianPM will automatically post charges from your meridianEMR system. meridianPM will also automatically post the HIPAA electronic remittance sent by your health plans.

Automated Paperless Collections
Keeping up with your accounts as they move into collections was never easier with meridianPM Automated Paperless Collections. This simple process for your practice involves setting up a series of collections events that run unattended as the patient rolls through the specific collections incidences.

Accounts are system-selected and put through the Automated Paperless Collections process based on parameters within meridianPM. Custom collections letters are set up in a series of events and sent to individual patients at pre-determined intervals. The patient is sent to an internal collector if patients ignore these letters.

Accounts that have advanced through the Automated Paperless Collections process without resolution, and need interaction from your staff will automatically appear on the collector’s worksheet on their Dr. Dash screen. All information is visible for phone call, follow-up and review. Payment promises can be notated and additional tools help create payment plans, tickler reminders, and even tracking an individual collector’s progress with specific accounts.

By pulling in specific pieces of data from the meridianPM SQL database — grouped into units of information or dimensions — nearly any field in the system “drills down” to smaller sets or levels, visualizing trends over days, months and years.

Data Mining also provides two additional means of analyzing practice-specific information: a measure, such as a transaction amount or visit count reported as a numerical value; and a cube, which groups dimensions and measures together utilizing the Microsoft Pivot Tables from Microsoft Excel. The data is accessible on your desktop with Excel compatibility.
