Getting Up and Running Quickly The
unique design of meridianEMR allows for access to the individual practice’s database via the internet prior to the local
practice server being installed. We encourage you to practice as much as possible. All you need to get started is a
user name and a login.
Soon after your meridianEMR order is
processed, a meridianEMR Account Manager will contact you to schedule a pre-implementation meeting. The pre-implementation
meeting helps meridianEMR become familiar with the flow and operational needs of the practice, establishes an implementation
plan, and schedules training dates. During the pre-implementation meeting, the meridianEMR Account Manager schedules
a 30-60 minute short training session for a later date. This short session is designed to enable the practice professionals
to start working with the meridianEMR application immediately. Some of the items covered include how to log into meridianEMR,
enter a patient, and access the templates for review. meridianEMR has found that installations are most successful when
physicians spend some time reviewing their practice specific templates before they begin their formal training.
meridianEMR has user manuals and video training modules for reference. meridianEMR
is also developing graphical and video content to assist practices in handling application issues and in gaining additional
application mastery.
